The language project Hein Hannemann

In this project, the children's book "Hein Hannemann - on a great journey" was recorded in many different languages.

Hein Hannemann, the lovable children's book character from Rostock-Warnemünde, wins the hearts of readers from the very first pages of this story. The blond boy with the cheeky mouth is known throughout the city, even though he's only five years old. With "Rüpel," his four-legged companion, Hein Hannemann experiences exciting, spooky, funny, and even dangerous adventures.

The stories about Hein Hannemann originated from the children's book by Sophie Kloerß, which was written in 1923 and has now been republished by Lexikus Verlag.

Children of all countries, unite!

We only have this one world. Hein Hannemann – the lad from Rostock – is already sharing it with you.
