2010

  • 20th Hanse Sail from August 5th to 8th, 2010
  • The HanseForum Rostock becomes a member of HSV.
  • The star sailor is the four-masted sailing cruise ship STAR FLYER.
  • The Hanse Sail SKY NIGHT will take place for the first time on August 7, 2010 at the Hotel Neptun.

2011

  • 21st Hanse Sail from August 11th to 14th, 2011
  • The star sailing ship is the BOUNTY; the replica became famous through the classic film "Mutiny on the Bounty".
  • A total of 242 participating ships from 15 nations attended the Hanse Sail.

2012

  • 22nd Hanse Sail from August 9th to 12th, 2012
  • Joachim Gauck becomes an honorary citizen of Rostock and opens the Hanse Sail.
  • The star sailor is the polar explorer Arved Fuchs with his shark cutter "Dagmar Aaen".
  • 226 participating ships and 1 million guests visited Rostock.
